Presentation: Eric OBrien - DevOps for Team: Strategies From the Field. DevOps for Team is about applying strategies from the field to your implementation. Learn about taking a CALMR approach and the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Find ways to make work visible and establish flow. Get the junk out of your trunk-based development. Find cool ways to establish DevOps into your sprint planning, execution, and refinement. Build an Architectural Runway utilizing system improvement enablers. Finally learn how to strangle your legacy code away once and for all.
Presenter: As a Senior Consultant with Applied Frameworks, Eric draws from his technical and agile experience to bridge software product delivery with business agility.
Before joining the firm, Eric worked as a consultant to Prudential, Bank of America, USAA, and AT&T, where he provided agile coaching, training, and tooling integration. Eric has been a Scrum Master, Developer, and Release Train Engineer.
Eric earned his Masters in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and holds an array of certifications, including SAFe Program Consultant (SPC 5.1), SAFe Release Train Engineer (5.0), Certified Scrum Professional, Project Management Professional, ICAgile Certified Professional, Six Sigma Green Belt, and ICAgile ATF-ICP. In addition, Eric is an associate instructor at Georgia Tech.
