The Future of Work Scotland team are delighted to welcome Hazel Anderson-Turner author of Coaching Through Burnout as our guest speaker for August.
In this engaging talk, Hazel will share insights from burnout research and stories from her NHS clients that will help bring the topic of burnout to life. In our complex, demanding, and fast-moving world, it makes sense that we are collectively feeling more exhausted and less engaged than we ever have. Drawing on her book ‘Coaching Through Burnout’ Hazel will share practical and realistic ideas for how we can become less exhausted, more connected to our work and reach the end of the day feeling as if we have achieved something.

Here's a little more about our amazing guest speaker:
Hazel Anderson-Turner is a Certified Business Psychologist and a Professional Certified Coach. After a career in Leadership and Organisational Development she started her own consultancy in 2017 specialising in resilient leadership.
She trains coaches worldwide in Acceptance & Commitment Coaching and co-hosts The Coaching UnpACT podcast. In 2025 she published Coaching Through Burnout, a practical guide to burnout prevention, based on her ground breaking work with the NHS.
