A bit about the film... A MAN CALLED OVE

Dir. Hannes Holm, Sweden 2015, London premiere - CLOSING FILM
116 mins, age recommendation 12+, Swedish + English subtitles
Sunday 11th Dec, 6.30pm - Regent Street Cinema

In this adaptation of Fredrik Backman's bestseller, Rolf Lassgard starts in the lead role of Ove, a cranky middle-aged man whose mission in life appears to be keeping watch over his neighbours like a hawk, ready to castigate anyone for the slightest thing he disapproves of. However, an unlikely friendship begins to develop when the pregnant Parvaneh & her family move into the neighbourhood.

A MAN CALLED OVE is a heart-warming comedy drama on love, friendship and forgiveness, with a standout performance from Rolf Lassgard.

We will meet in the bar at The Regent Street Cinema at 5:30pm to enjoy a drink & chat before the movie.
