What we’re about
Anyone who wants to play regular, fun football in Stockholm should join. Everyone is welcome.
Don't worry if it's your first time, we've all been there - just come along and say hi. The intention is to play once per week (maybe more), depending on availability of pitches. All events will be on booked pitches and the cost of bookings, vests and balls etc will be shared equally. We'll also aim to have a Player of the Month event once per month where a member of the group will win a football shirt (or similar).
SCBC has evolved from this group into a team who play both 7 and 11-a-side competitively and will continue to play during 2024, if you're interested in joining the team then drop a message or mention it at one of the Meetups.
Upcoming events (1)
See all- Stockholm Summer Cup: 7-a-side charity tournament 🍻 ⚽️ 🐶Långholmens bollplan, Stockholm
Like many summers past SCBC will host a summer sevens football tournament, for a second time we are raising money for Hundstallet (a local dog shelter) whilst doing so. 🐶 ⚽️
Matches of 7-a-side, 2 groups, a minimum of 4 games per team. There will be water/drinks and refreshments included for all players, the chance to win one of 3 football shirts, prizes for the winning teams and a whole bunch of money raised for Hundstallet - a dog shelter here in Stockholm. All this for 100kr per player! ⚽️ 😃
There will hopefully even be a food truck down by the pitch so invite friends and family to play/watch if you’d like to (plus even a bouncy castle if we can afford it and get it approved). 🌮 ⚽️
The aim is to have 3 or 4 Meetup teams entered into the competition plus a few teams not affiliated to Meetup, making for a total of 8 teams. People who sign up to this event will be allocated teams on a ‘first come, first served’ basis so if you want to play then sign up now and keep an eye on your messages ❤️. The only way to guarantee your place on a team is to pay your 100kr entry fee to the hundstallet fundraiser, linked here.
If you want to learn more about Hundstallet and the work they do, this is their website: Hundstallet.
This event is not run by Hundstallet, they just do good things and we’d like to help them out.
