It's the film everyone is talking about, and it's just in time for Halloween.

Legendary director Guillermo del Toro is telling Mary Shelley's classic 1818 tale of Frankenstein as only he can tell it in the visual style only he can create.

Oscar Isaac is playing the mad doctor, and his perverse creation is portrayed by Jacob Elordi.

The picture also features Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz.

Frankenstein had its world premiere in main competition at the Venice International Film Festival in August. It was met with enthusiastic notices.

Del Toro acknowledged the original 1931 film as a formative influence for his movie, and his version draws also from the sequel, 1935's Bride of Frankenstein.

The new film has been described as Gothic romanticism in the vein of del Toro’s own Crimson Peak or Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Showtime is 4 pm. Let's meet a half hour before showtime in the seating area near the bar to get seats together.

Please note: This film has a run time of 2 hours 30 minutes.

After the show we can grab a bite at Nancy's.

Hope to see you there.
