***SHOWTIME IS 3:45 PM***

The artistic duo who brought us the Oscar-winning Poor Things has returned with another acclaimed picture that is also gaining awards steam.

The new absurdist black comedy Bugonia stars Emma Stone and is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The movie is written by Will Tracy.

The story follows two young men who kidnap a powerful CEO, suspecting that she is secretly an alien who wants to destroy the planet. The film is an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet directed by Jang Joon-hwan.

The picture co-stars Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias and Alicia Silverstone.

Irish cinematographer Robbie Ryan shot the project on 8-perf 35mm film with VistaVision cameras, marking his fourth collaboration with Lanthimos. With approximately 95% of the film photographed in VistaVision by Ryan's estimate, it has used the format more than any film since One-Eyed Jacks in 1961.

Showtime has been posted and it is 3:45 pm. Let's meet in the lobby a half hour before showtime to get seats together. You save 20 percent off your ticket with this earlier screening.

After the film let's grab a bite at Tecalitlan. Please bring cash to help out the process paying the bill.

Hope to see you there.
