The Rachmaninov Concert will be an upcoming edition of the Wednesday evening series of the Grant Park Music Festival.
The brilliant pianist Olga Kern performs Rachmaninov’s highly virtuosic Piano Concerto No 3, with Festival Conductor Laureate Carlos Kalmar returning to lead the Grant Park Orchestra.
The program includes Stravinsky’s charming ballet Game of Cards and Elgar’s sunny In the South.
There is free seating in the pavilion. Feel free to bring a picnic and blanket and enjoy a night of classical musical highlights.
The show starts at 6:30 pm. Let's meet at 5:30 at the western entrance to the pavilion by the main wall.
There will be food tents if you wish to buy your dinner and beverage at the venue.
