Let's attend the Chicago Jazz Festival

Labor Day weekend is coming, and that means the Chicago Jazz Festival is almost here.

The second evening of the festival will feature a salute to a group of legendary Chicago musicians. The main event will be Innovations & Lineage: The Chicago Project featuring Dee Alexander, Corey Wilkes, Isaiah Collier, Paul Cornish, Jonathan Pinson and Emma Dayhuff.

Showtime is 6:25 pm. The performance will last until 7:25.

From 7:45 to 9, Robert Glasper will be featured in a min-concert.

We will meet at 6 pm to get seats together in the Pavilion. Our meeting place will be at the west entrance to the seating area that is located at the end of the concrete wall where the entrance to seating begins.

Please bring a picnic and beverages; food and drinks will be available for sale at the park.
