Wednesday Evening Walk from The Paper Mill, Apsley

This is a delightful new route of just under 5 miles starting from the popular Paper Mill pub and restaurant in Apsley. Our route takes us cross country and up into woodland paths with great views across the hills, before returning along a stretch of the canal. Walking time approx. 2 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there's the option to stay for a chat and a drink at The Paper Mill. I've reserved ten places for an indoor drink there after the walk - if you want to reserve one of these places please let me know. More places may be possible, and if it's sunny they'll probably let us move outside as we did last time.

Free Parking
Free parking is available at The Paper Mill for those who are going to stay for a drink after the walk, and there's also free parking nearby at Apsley Mills Retail Park car park in any case.

Travelling from London / by Train
The nearest train station is Apsley, which is just a two minute walk from our meeting point.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
