Evening Walk: Tring to Tring Park and Hastoe Grove

This is a picturesque 4.5 mile walk through the spectacular Tring Park, with a sensational view overlooking the town of Tring to finish. The route includes tree covered rural boulevards, open tracks and some great elevated views across Tring Park. Tring town, where we'll rendezvous and end, is also rich with unusual historic buildings. Walking time approx. 2 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

If you wish to you can stay afterwards for a post-walk chat and drink at The Bell pub in Tring High Street.

Meeting Point and Parking
We'll meet outside St Peter & St Paul Church on Tring High Street. There is free parking at Tring Park Car Park, and three other car parks behind the church, between the Church and the Black Horse pub. There's also free roadside parking in the roads opposite the Black Horse, so you could park there and walk up the path up the back of the church to the meeting point at the front of the church.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
