Evening Walk from The Red Lion, Dagnall

This is a new walk with splendid views across the valleys towards the 'Whipsnade Lion' - see gallery, distance about 5 miles. We'll also walk through woodlands and look out across a second valley to the West. Dagnall and The Red Lion are an easy drive from either Hemel or Dunstable, on the side of the B440 (the Leighton Buzzard Road from Hemel). Walking time approx. 2 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

If you wish to you can stay afterwards for a post-walk chat and drink at The Red Lion pub.

Meeting Point and Free Parking
By arrangement with the Red Lion we can park in their ample-sized car park.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
