Tuesday Evening Walk from The Lions of Bledlow

A brand new route of about 3.5 miles starting from the historic Lions of Bledlow Pub, which was formerly two pubs - the Red Lion and the White Lion - next door to each other. After walking through the village, our route takes us on to Bledlow Great Wood and Chinnor Hill Nature Reserve; a nice breath of fresh air at the end of the day and a drink in a classic old pub that boasts three fireplaces among its many delights (see gallery). Walking time approx. 1.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there's the option to stay for a chat and a drink at the Lions of Bledlow pub.

Free Parking
The pub has a very large car park which we're welcome to use, no need to register cars with them.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
