This is a new location, rural setting and countryside walk from the amazing Green Man pub at Great Offley, near Luton, with its gorgeous beer garden views across the valley toward Hitchin. Our route takes us along bridleways and across meadows out towards Kings Walden, on to the hamlet of Ley Green and back via Austage End, alongside Goodley's Wood and Cornelius Wood. Distance 7 miles. Walking time approx. 2.5 to 3 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there's the option of staying for a chat, food and a drink at The Green Man.

Free Parking
There is free parking in the car park and nearby.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
