Saturday Walk: Ivinghoe to Pitstone Windmill

This a brand new 6 mile route from the lovely village of Ivinghoe, meeting on the grass opposite St Mary the Virgin Church (pictured), and heading up to Pitstone Ridge, via Pitstone Windmill, which we'll go right next to and past. This walks combines a scenic village with rugged views over the valleys and hills. Walking time approx. 2.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk is the option to stay for a drink, food and a chat at the Rose and Crown.

Meeting Point
We'll meet on the grass diagonally opposite St Mary The Virgin Church, LU7 9EW, opposite what was formerly the Kings Head pub (pictured). Please allow yourself five minutes to find somewhere to park.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
