A brand new route of 6.3 miles for our first weekend walk from the historic Lions of Bledlow Pub, which was formerly two pubs - the Red Lion and the White Lion - next door to each other. We start through the village, including hopefully a turn around Lyde Garden, a private garden of delights which is open at the owner's discretion. Our route takes us on to Hempton Wainhill and takes in stretches of the Upper Icknield Way bridleway. Then we'll get some stunning elevated views across the landscape from the hill top; an invigorating walk and a drink await in a classic old pub that boasts three fireplaces among its very many curious decorative delights. Walking time approx. 2.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there's the option to stay for a chat and a drink at the Lions of Bledlow pub.

Free Parking
The pub has a very large car park which we're welcome to use, no need to register cars with them.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing.
