Sunday Walk from The Cock Inn to Latimer

This is a partly new walk from the recently re-opened and charming Cock Inn just outside Sarratt, with its 17th century bar area and old banqueting style dining room. This 6 mile route takes in stunning views of the River Chess overlooking the Chess Valley, paths of the municipal river walkway and various charming woodlands and meadows in between. Walking time approx 2.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there is the option of staying for a drink, refreshments and a chat at The Cock Inn.

Free Parking
The Cock Inn are happy for us to park there. They have a large car park and you won't need to register your car number plate at the bar.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
