Sunday Walk from Wendover High Street to Wendover Woods

This brand new and scenic 6.5 mile walk is our first ever from Wendover. Meeting at the Wendover Library Car Park, we'll proceed along delightful pathways next to the water and down Church Lane before venturing off onto the bridleways and on to the renewing Wendover Woods, before returning down into the town and an optional drink at Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion; a 17th-century inn, rich in character and charm.
The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.
If you wish to you can stay afterwards for a post-walk chat, drink and food at Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion.
Parking
In addition to the Wendover Library Car Park there is also some off road parking in the town.
Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.
Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
