Sunday Walk from the Green Dragon at Flaunden to the River
Details
A beautiful walk and a brand new route - our first from the Green Dragon in the small village of Flaunden, between Chesham and Chorleywood. Our route takes the delightful path through Long Wood, along the edge of the ridge, then into the tiny village of Latimer, and on to the river path, up to the higher point above the River Chess with outstanding views below to the river, and across the valley. I've put some photos of the route in the gallery below. Distance approx. 6.5 miles. Walking time approx 2.5 to 3 hours.
The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.
After the walk there is the option of staying for a chat, drink and refreshments at The Green Dragon.
