Tuesday Evening Walk from the White Horse at Bourne End, Hemel Hempstead

This is our first walk from The White Horse; an evening walk of approx. 4.5 miles with a bit of everything; a stretch along the canal, some nice views from the hill top, fields, wide track paths and Sheethanger Common, and hopefully we'll get to enjoy a sunset as we walk West at the end on the waterside. We start from opposite the White Horse pub in the Bourne End near Hemel. Walking time approx. 1.5 to 2 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk, there's the option to stay for a drink and a chat at the Anchor pub in Bourne End, near Hemel.

There's plenty or parking available.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
