Details

This is a delightful brand new route for a Tuesday evening, of approx 3.9 miles from The Black Horse with wide woodland boulevards, stunning views across the hills, the odd goat and finally a delightful part of the village - all shown in the gallery below. We'll also pass the house where Roald Dahl wrote his books such as Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, we'll go past The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, and see the church where he is buried. Walking time approx. 1.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there's the option of staying for a chat and a drink at The Black Horse.
