This is a gentle Sunday morning walk to take in the best forest paths at this time of year now they have that lovely orange, red and brown autumn colour scheme about them. We'll be taking the path pictured, which has been used in a Hollywood movie (Dolittle - see photo gallery below). There's also a toilet break half way round, at which point those who wish to walk just 3 miles can finish their walk there back at the car park and cafe. We'll start at the historic Ashridge House, and our route through the forest takes us via Thunderdell Lodge, Frithsden Beeches and Coldharbour Farm. Walking time approx. 2.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk you're invited to stay for a chat, drink and food indoors at the Bakehouse Café in the beautiful courtyard of Ashridge House.

Meeting Point and Free Parking
We'll congregate next to the main car park in front of Ashridge House, which is free to park in.
