What we’re about

Where perfume sparks connection, and beauty is lived — not just seen.

This group was born from a simple desire: to bring together people who share a particular kind of sensibility — a love for perfume, for calm and meaningful conversations, for beautiful spaces and good food.
After attending various Meetup groups, I often found parts of what I was looking for — but never quite the whole. I longed for a space where scent wasn’t just a passing interest, but the common thread that could link shared passions like interior aesthetics, cultural outings, and quiet connection.

Scented Conversations is that space.

It’s a not-for-profit social group for those who find joy in scent, detail, and lived beauty. A group for people who wear perfume with intention, who restore and decorate their homes with personal flair, and who find meaning in the small, beautiful moments of life.

🌸 Each event begins with the scent you’ve chosen to wear that evening
🪞 We share thoughts, stories, and memories linked to our perfumes
🧴 We dive into one or more fragrances together — often themed around a specific brand or perfumer — exploring their creations through conversation, storytelling, and hands-on discovery. During dinner or drinks, we might sample a few scents, share impressions, pass around blotters, and enjoy the simple pleasure of smelling something new, together.
🛍️ Some weekends, we may also plan small olfactory explorations — visiting iconic London perfumeries like Liberty, Harrods, or Selfridges, to discover new scents together and share the joy of in-person sniffing.

But perfume is just the beginning.

We also gather for:
🍷 Calm evenings in quiet pubs and refined restaurants
🎨 Cultural outings: exhibitions, art, cinema (especially noir), design
🍣 Culinary wanderings — with a love for Japanese cuisine and subtle pleasures
🛠️ Creative interiors — from DIY decor and object restoration to vintage market strolls and antique-hunting

This group is LGBTQ+ inclusive and open to anyone who values beauty not as a show, but as a lived, shared experience. Whether you're new to the world of fragrance or have a long-standing passion, you'll find kindred spirits here.

Events will be intentionally small (4–8 people), to foster authentic conversation, unhurried exchange, and a warm, sensory atmosphere.

If you believe perfume is more than a scent — it's a language — this might just be your circle.
