Recent dire news on climate breakdown, from a boiling North Atlantic to record heat in Asia, from 1.5º Degree by 2027 to faster than anticipated ice melt and sea level rise, from insect loss and biodiversity loss to devastating drought and storms, etc, etc, etc, has created an absolute crisis moment for our planet and the ecosystems we depend on for global society and even life. In this high-stakes moment we look more than ever to power (Governments, People Collectively, and Corporations) for action that will address and mitigate these issues at the scales.
We are delighted to be joined by Penny Baxter, who is a Partner and Senior Advisor at SB+CO a sustainability consultancy that advises companies on strategy, sustainability activation and integration, ESG, stakeholder engagement and communications. Penny has been fighting on the front lines of corporate sustainability for over two decades and brings a wealth of experience and understanding to this moment. We are excited to hear her thoughts on the opportunities, potentials, and challenges for and futures of corporate sustainability.

Penny has over 25 years’ experience advising major corporations on sustainability strategy. She originally co-founded Salterbaxter with Nigel in 1998, and now continues to advise global companies and brands at the unique intersection of strategy, engagement and impact, and responsible business at SB+CO. She has a clear understanding of the sustainability science and the power of creativity and communications, which helps bring sustainability into the real world in meaningful ways.
