"The Future of Futures" w/ Ted Hunt

Details
Let's explore the underlying drivers our perceptions of the future.
"Our perceptions and predictions for the future have long been coupled with default mindsets we rarely seek to question. But what if instead we were to consider the future from the perspective of cautious criticality, rather than a default mindset of optimism/progress, and over the course of an entire epoch, rather than neatly bookended into the next calendar year?"
It is that time of year, when the latest trend reports start to arrive thick and fast. Let's dig into some of the underlying world views driving what's next, and what the future will look like.
We are really happy to have the brilliant Ted Hunt, an independent critical designer, and Fellow with the School of Critical Design joining us. Ted will be in conversation with J. Paul Neeley, where they will discuss Ted's latest work "The MIRED World in The Anthropocene" and explore some of the themes there, while also digging into Ted's practice and approach.
Come explore the future of futures with us!
At the end of the conversation we will take some questions from the audience.
