The future of Quantum Culture Hacking w/ Samar Younes

Join us for a talk and micro-workshop with the brilliant artist and cultural hacker Samar Younes. We're super excited to build on previous talks on quantum and AI with an artistic and activist perspective. Samar is a leading voice and creator working at the intersections of AI, quantum and craft. She will take us on a journey into the practice of Culture Hacking as resistance, and collectively we will practice some quantum crafting!

Beirut-born conceptual hybrid artist and cultural hacker Samar Younes works through cultural quantum frameworks where transcultural intelligence questions which realities get canonized and how they can be remixed into liberation.

Through SAMARITUAL’s tri-sphere practice: Creator, Catalyst, Cultivator (home to her IMAGINAOLGY Quantum Craft Lab and Quantum Culture Substack) she crafts artifacts and environments that reroute identity and memory. Informed by Silk Road exchange patterns and two decades directing global creative strategy, she braids artisanal, ancestral, artificial, and ecological intelligences into new possibility matrices. Her quantum-craft method treats culture + craft as living archives where past/present/future coexist in superposition, tradition/innovation mutate, and meaning refuses fixation.

Younes’s work has shown at Dubai Future Foundation, Milan Fashion Week, and New York galleries, and she has guest-lectured at NYU, Central Saint Martins, Zurich University of the Arts, Parsons, and more As a mentor at NEW INC (NYC’s New Museum incubator) , she guides creative entrepreneurs while inviting audiences to inhabit mycelium-like futures pushing the boundaries between emerging technologies and cultural DNA.
