What we’re about
Welcome! This group is intended for science fiction and fantasy writers local to the area. Once per month, we will be meeting to critique each other's writing snippets. By having others read our work and offer their constructive feedback, we can all better hone our skills in writing!
Bring up to 3,000 words of writing, printed out for up to 3 people. Around 2,000 words is recommended. Also bring a pen to critique the work of others.
The writing sample need not be the very beginning of your work. It also need not have a beginning, middle, and end. A writing sample at any point in your work will be suitable. However, add a short paragraph or two of necessary context if the sample is not at the very beginning of your work.
If more than 4 people show, we will split evenly into groups of no more than 4.
Each meetup will last for 3 hours. This should give enough time for everybody in a group to critique each other.
