What we’re about
A ladies-only book club for sci-fi and dystopian novel lovers! We meet at various locations in South Miami and Coral Gables and welcome passionate readers looking to explore thought-provoking stories.
Some books we’ve read in the past include Octavia Butler’s Parables and Lilith’s Brood, Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, and Suzanne Collins’ The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
To make our discussions meaningful, we ask that members read enough of the book of the month to be able to form an opinion and actively participate in the discussion. If you haven’t had the chance to read at least part of the book, we kindly ask you to skip that meeting and join us for the next one. In order to foster a sense of community, we ask that members attend meetings for at least one of three subsequent books to remain active in the club.
