The three eras of global inequality

What is global inequality and why is it falling while inequalities within countries are increasing? How is global inequality linked with migration? Why is the rise of China producing conflict?

We meet at 19:30 for cocktails at one of the tall tables in the foyer (lookout for the Meetup flag!). The band plays at 20:00-20:45 in the foyer, and then we move to the concert hall for the presentation at 21:15-22:15.
