Presentation w Q&A by Cold Spring Harbor Researcher in genetics

Details

Oy, its been a long while.

Very short notice, but tomorrow night (Halloween) Cold Spring Harbor Labs is hosting a talk and Q&A by one of their researchers in genetics and neurologic disorders. It's their event but I'm publishing here for our group.

The event is called "Cocktails & Chromosomes" and is at the very interesting "Industry Bar" in Huntington It runs from 7 to 8pm but probable runs a little latter for add'l Q&A. Also seating is limited and I'd strongly advise getting there early to find a seat.
Description : "CSHL Professor Dick McCombie, where he’ll unravel a famous murder mystery! As an expert in genetics and a researcher on bats, he’ll share fascinating insights about these long-lived creatures of the night. With decades of experience in genome sequencing and studies on various organisms, Professor McCombie brings a unique perspective to science and suspense."

The event is FREE. Pay for your own drinks ( its a very interesting quirky bar)

CSHL Registration is NOT required but helpful at
www.cshl.edu/public-events/lectures/cocktails-chromosomes

PLEASE also register here on meetup so I can get an idea of who is coming.
There will be many others besides our group, but if you text me at 516-857-4883 I can introduce myself and hopefully we can arrange to meet after the presentation for desert somewhere nearby.
