Details
This session continues our exploration into how fragments become agents — shifting the lens toward collective intelligence.
Whether or not you attended the previous Fragments sessions, you’re welcome here. We’ll begin with a brief recap of key ideas and provide access to optional background materials so everyone can follow and contribute meaningfully.
The focus this time:
- How individual systems or agents give rise to coordinated intelligence across scales
- What we can learn from the work of Michael Levin (morphogenesis, cellular networks) and Stephen Wolfram (computational irreducibility, emergent complexity)
- How these ideas relate to the nature of agency, semantic structure, and the path from distributed fragments to coherent collective behavior
There will be a short presentation and framing, followed by open discussion.
This session is part of the Fragments series, but designed to be accessible even if this is your first one.
