Discussion – AI, Agency, Consciousness, Math, and Reality: What’s the Relation?
Details
Short Description:
How do AI, agency, and consciousness connect to the deeper structures of math and reality? Join this discussion exploring what links intelligence, meaning, and the fabric of the world.
Long Description:
Part of our ongoing “From Fragments to Agents” series, this discussion continues themes from our recent event, Math, Computation, and the Nature of Reality, but is fully open to new participants — no prior attendance or background knowledge required.
We’ll explore how mathematical and computational perspectives intersect with AI, agency, and consciousness, and what those intersections might reveal about reality itself.
Together we’ll consider:
- How might agency and intelligence arise within computational or physical systems?
- Can AI help us understand the nature of consciousness — or highlight its mysteries?
- Is reality discovered through math, or co-created through intelligence and interaction?
This will be a guided, participatory conversation, not a lecture — a space to think, listen, and share across science, philosophy, and the human experience.
