Details
Come to the Dallas Makerspace Science Lab every Sunday at 3:00PM to participate in our Science Sunday activities. Science Sunday involves the following:
- Fun activity/Demonstration: Whenever possible, we will try to have a fun activity/demonstration that people can try regardless of their scientific background. Some of the previous activities include making slime, blowing smoke rings form a vortex cannon, and spaghetti bridge building.
- Rotating Group Research Projects: Members propose and select different group projects for each week. Current active projects include a making a hat with a sub-ambient radiative cooling fabric, design of a new 3D-print vapor smoothing chamber, and building a cloud chamber to visualize radiation.
Feel free to drop in just the fun activity if the group research project does not interest you. You are also welcome to come and chat with us about anything science related that you might be interested in or working on.
