SETI, Science and the Search for Alien Life

This month Science Cafe NH leaves the earth behind to explore how science is helping us search for aliens, wherever they may be hiding! SETI is the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence and we are pleased to host two experts in this ongoing process of searching the cosmos for sentinel beings other that humans, which we know all too well.

SETI examines radio wave transmissions, looking to find evidence of patterns that cannot be explained any way other than intelligent aliens reaching out to locate, connect and possibly destroy us. Complex technology and a worldwide network of scientists have been studying the skies for decades, searching for the proof that we are not alone in the universe.
