Cosmology | 360° Planetarium Experience "The Unseen Universe" at ESO Supernova

ESO Supernova is a new planetarium located on the Garching Research Campus, close to Munich. They offer a wide range of experiences, workshops and tours related to cosmology and astronomy.

Let's visit their planetarium show "The Unseen Universe" together, a 360° experience about how we can see or detect a wide range of objects in the universe with today's technology. This show will be in English language.

Important: Tickets (5 EUR) are required to attend this experience and need to be purchased in advance, directly here on the ESO Supernova website:

Currently (March 8th, 2023), there are 105 seats available. If you want, you can focus on rows 5 and 6 when you select and book your seat(s), so we kind of have a common area for our group.

The planetarium show starts at 2pm, but on the website they say we need to be there at least 30mins in advance, I guess that is for the seating procedure. So let's meet at the entrance desk latest 1:30pm, better a few minutes before that.

The planetarium show is 50 minutes, which gives us 2 hours to discover the on-site cosmology exhibition after the show (for those who want). That exhibition is really interesting and does not require an additional ticket. If some of you want to come earlier and visit the exhibition before the planetarium show, that is also possible.
