Sharp news everyone,

the worldwide 2026 Pint of Science Festival is just around the corner, and of course we'll be in this. This festival features a series of talks from 18-20th May 2026 in different bars in Munich (and other cities). For our meetup, we picked the Quantum-Evening at the bar "Gans Woanders", where two talks about quantum physics will be given.

Important: Tickets (2,50 EUR) are required for this event and have to be purchased by yourself (in advance) directly from the Pint of Science website:

Topic of first talk: Quantum Randomness
Speaker: Pau Farrera Soler (Postdoc - Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics)

Topic of second talk: Quantum Computing
Speaker: Adrien Bouscal (Postdoc - MPI for Quantum Optics and LMU Munich)

We will meet at 18:15 at the entrance of the bar "Gans Woanders" (Pilgersheimer Str. 13, 81543, Munich) and then go inside together to find good seats. The talk will start at 19:00.

Looking very forward to see many of you there!

Marc
