July Podcast: Would physics be different for aliens?
Details
This month's science podcast: The universe appears to obey physical laws independently from human minds. However, the ways that we perceive the universe, talk about physics, and perform science are all human-dependent. Is it possible that aliens could thus have different ways of perceiving, communicating, and doing physical science? And if so, would there be limits to those differences?
Professor Sean Carroll interviews physicist Daniel Whiteson about whether (and how much) the laws of physics are universal, plus other topics. Let's talk about it!
