Hard science fiction

Hard science fiction is a sub-genre of science fiction characterised by a strong adherence to scientific accuracy and logic. Note that there isn't a stark boundary between hard and soft science fiction, and it's alright to describe a book as being on the hard side of SF even if it features speculative science.

With the above in mind, you are invited to briefly present one or more books that you'd reckon fit the description of hard science fiction.

Afterwards we will have a casual and friendly chat about the books, about the subject of hard science fiction, and wherever else the conversation takes us!

You are of course welcome to bring the books you want to discuss, but it's also fine if you don't.
