Best reads of 2025 [New Date!]

Note the new date: Due to the general strike on December 11, this event will now take place on December 9 instead!

Since this is the last meeting of 2025, we're having our traditional end of the year review. You are thus cordially invited to present one or more genre books (science fiction, fantasy, horror, etc) that you reckon are the best ones you read this year! (Note that it doesn't matter when the book(s) actually came out.)

Afterwards we will have a casual and friendly chat about the books, about the year of 2025, and wherever else the conversation takes us!

You are of course welcome to bring the books you want to discuss, but it's also fine if you don't.
