FRIDAY NIGHT

Varsity (a Shadowlands game)
Game Runner – Dave
Department Q is HM Government's occult and paranormal investigatory, research, containment, and clean-up agency. For security, Department Q’s headquarters is hidden above a laundry shop, which has resulted in the unfortunate unofficial nickname of “The Laundry”.
Attempted incursions from Hell dimensions into our world have become more and more common over the last few years, and with the current resources and budget, the Laundry is spread very thin.
In the past only highly trained and skilled wizards could break the dimensional barrier, but in modern times any genius with a computer can use mathematical programs to do the same.
A report has come in about earth tremors in Kent, the epicentre focused on Longfield University campus. Longfield has been a troubled region; there have been numerous reports of supernatural activity from 2019 onwards that the Laundry still hasn’t got to the bottom of. Two agents have been sent to investigate and hopefully put this matter to rest once and for all.

Queen of Mars (set in H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds)
Game Runners – Pete & Kimber

Player roles: The role of Professor Phobos, the Empire’s leading scientist, has yet to be filled. Additionally, a Doctor – master of modern medicine – will also be required. All other remaining character roles will be Soldiers or Miners.
Costume suggestions: The upper class characters require a Steampunk or Safari inspired costume. A hat makes any outfit, and if it’s a top hat or pith helmet then so much the better.
Lower class characters require something a bit ‘Peaky Blinders’ or smart military (brass and ribbons). Miners could wear the orange jumpsuit from last year’s Invasion.

Escape on a Budget

An ‘escape room’ inspired game, mixing terror with brain power.
Will you solve the clues and escape or remain trapped forever?
The game draws upon Jurassic Park, Resident Evil, and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

SUNDAY NIGHT

Containment Breach (A SCP game)
Game Runner – John
Operating clandestine and worldwide, the Foundation operates beyond jurisdiction, empowered and entrusted by every major national government with the task of containing anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena. Many of these anomalies pose a significant threat to global security by threatening either physical or psychological harm. All of them undermine the natural laws that the people of the world implicitly trust in.
The Foundation operates to maintain normalcy, so that the worldwide civilian population can live and go on with their daily lives without fear, mistrust, or doubt in their personal beliefs, and to maintain human independence from extraterrestrial, extradimensional, and other extranormal influence.
Player roles: Players will either be campers/civilians, or Foundation personnel, including Mobile Task Force soldiers, researchers, and field medics. Civies are fine for most players, but MTF soldiers will be expected to be in military black/tactical clothing.
3-4 NPC volunteers required, costumes will be black or dark coloured plain clothes.
