Britain's First Lightbulb Museum (John Holden)

Light bulbs light up our world especially during the dark winter months and most of us have lived through different eras of lighting technologies. Belgium has three museums dedicated to artificial light but not one in the UK. Why?

John's Light bulb collecting has extended into photographing them in their natural habitats such as street lamps and public lanterns and these will be exhibited in the Whiteknights studio trail on 13 and 14 June.

Imagining what a light bulb museum could be like a pop up museum has been created in a small studio space.

This talk will document some of the journey so far.
