Solar Eclipse 2026 – Watch It Live in Reading!
Details
Join the Reading Astronomical Society for a special evening observing the partial solar eclipse from the University of Reading’s Whiteknights Campus.
We’ll be on the sports field next to the University SportsPark gym from 6pm on Wednesday 12th August 2026, with telescopes, expert guidance and safe solar viewing glasses available.
With around 85% of the Sun expected to be covered locally, this should be a spectacular sight — and everyone is welcome, whether you’re a keen astronomer or simply curious!
