Topic: There is a fungus that infects ants and turns them into zombies by changing their behavior to do the fungus’s bidding while it feeds on them. This behavioral change spreads the fungus to other ants. The ants become the living dead while being consumed by the fungus. Biologists have asked, “if there is a God, why is there something this hideous in nature”. We will look at this question and take an interesting philosophical turn in the process.
Where: Bel Air Church, 16221 Mulholland Dr., L.A.
