Costing, Pricing, and Breakeven (free in-person workshop from SCORE)

Details
How do you price your product or service? Is it at a level that generates a profit, or are you losing money and burning through cash? Large, small, or start-up businesses face this critical challenge. Before setting prices, it is necessary to understand your specific marketing goals, the factors influencing your pricing strategy, and all possible pricing strategies.
Pricing is only part of the issue. Do you know about the costs of your product or service? How much do your employees cost, and how do they impact pricing? How do your costs behave as sales increase or decrease?
This workshop is designed for entrepreneurs starting businesses, preparing plans, or making financial projections. Its information is also helpful if you are introducing a new product or service and want a more thorough understanding of the pricing strategy.
This workshop is presented by James M. Chamberlain of SCORE. Jim has an MBA and is a CMA (Certified Management Accountant). Jim has held financial positions in the semiconductor and component divisions of General Dynamics, Dexter and the Statek Corporation. He has also held management positions with an environmental start-up. Jim helped manage a privately held technology company awarded one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in Orange County.
Workshop sponsored by Yorba Linda Public Library.
