Edinburgh Calton Hill & Arthur's Seat

We will meet at Waverley station by the WHSmiths by the platform 13 barriers at 12, then pick up food from a nearby supermarket, then head for a slow walk up Calton Hill (next to the station). It's a small hill with a range of monuments on top and some impressive views. We'll wander around up there for a while then take a walk towards Arthur's Seat.

Arthur's Seat is a larger hill set inside Holyrood Park nearby. It's not too easy to get to the top, but we can also split into two groups with one staying in the park and one climbing it.

We'll get to the top of it, enjoy the views and rest, then head back down to join up with anyone who didn't climb it. Then we'll have a chill rest of the day in a pub :)
