Having spent 10 years delivery business and technology change at Sky, Alex founded VKY Intelligent Automation. He has worked on major automation programmes including the Clydesdale Bank implementation of Automation Anywhere and later leading VKY's Automation and Innovation practice which has seen him work with clients such as Skipton Building Society, Ingenico Group, Abellio Scotrail, Ascensos and others. He is a regular writer and contributor on automation and AI related topics, in particular adoption in Scotland, the economic impacts of automation and the future of work.

Alex has been the driving force behind establishing VKY as the leading Scottish Intelligent Automation services business and the only one to have secured partner status with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft, IBM Watson, AWS and Liveperson.
