Abandon Jupyter and embrace Quarto to effectively communicate data science.

Details
This session will be our first mash-up of the Aberdeen Data Meetup and the Aberdeen Python User Group. It will feature a single speaker and then the opportunity for those who want to stay on to do some Python coding. Bring a laptop if you can and join in!
"Abandon Jupyter and embrace Quarto to effectively communicate data science." - Arturo Regalado
In this talk Arturo will introduce you to Quarto, an open-source library and technical publishing system. Quarto allows you to create compelling reports, web pages, blog posts, books and more using plain text markdown while integrating your Python code.
Join us to discover a workflow that overcomes the limitations of Jupyter Notebooks when communicating results of data analysis.
About the presenter:
Arturo is an energy economist and data analyst with over six years of experience in processing and interpreting data to give actionable insights for decision makers in different industries. He has work for market advisory firms in the oil and gas industry and oversaw open data initiatives for the Anticorruption System in Mexico.
