Respect Elephants don't Steal them ...Protest

Please join Scotland for Elephants and Rhinos on Thursday 7th November between 11.30am - 2.30pm outside the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh.

We are protesting against the trade of 35 infant elephants from Zimbabwe to deplorable conditions in Chinese zoos. 50 babies were stolen from their families in the wild. Some of those caught died and a few were too unwell to travel ...but 35 were loaded on to a plane in the dead of night and taken out of the country while lawyers were still fighting their case.

I know this is a work day but unfortunately the consulate is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays ....we need as many people as possible to join us. Even if you can only turn up for a short while we would be really grateful ....I will have placards etc to give you/
