When discussing AI, we often hear about AI models and the practitioners who design them. This workshop, delivered in partnership between the Scottish AI Alliance, the Centre for Technomoral Futures and Data For Children Collaborative will delve into some of the less visible work which is crucial to developing a lot of AI models, focusing on ‘facial analysis’ algorithms.

Following a panel of short talks on categorization and labelling in these applications of AI, we will engage with a real-world dataset in an interactive workshop.

Refreshments will be provided.
