It’s a community style of dance, from weddings and ceilidhs to the grand balls on Scotland’s aristocratic estates. All you need is soft soled shoes and comfy clothes. No partner required, we dance in sets.’See you on the dance floor.

There will be plenty of room at our terrific venue, the Foard Williams room at Trentwood at the Hub.
We dance in sets, it’s hand contact only, you don’t need a partner, men and women do pretty much the same thing, nice sensible flat shoes… the list goes on.
You just need is soft soled shoes to start, and a reasonable level of fitness. And, no, the kilt is never compulsory, even on the most formal occasions. And it isn't Highland Dance.
