121st Scottish Esperanto Congress / 121 Skota Kongreso de Esperanto
Location not specified yetThe 121st Scottish Esperanto Congress will take place in Glasgow from 29–31 May 2026, in Newlands South Church, a 3-minute walk from the closest train station (Langside), itself only 15 minutes by train from the centre of Glasgow.
Our guest speaker will be Stela Besenyei-Merger. Stela is a social scientist and art educator from Budapest, Hungary. She has been active in the Esperanto movement since she was a child, and has collaborated on many Esepranto events, and created various podcasts including “La Bona Renkontiĝo” and “Radikala Tenero”. She has written on various subjects in Esperanto for magazines and blogs for the last 15 years. Stela will entertain us with various items in the programme including “Art in Glasgow” and “Esperanto en families”. Along with this, as usual, there will be a variety of other contributions from our members.

La 121a Skota Kongreso de Esperanto okazos en Glasgovo de la 29–31 de majo 2026.
Nia kongresejo estas la Preĝejo “Newlands South”, kiu troviĝas je 3-minuta promeno de la stacio Langside en la sudo flanko de Glasgovo, 15 minutoj per trajno de la centro.Nia gastpreleganto estos Stela Besenyei-Merger. Stela estas socisciencisto kaj artedukisto el Budapeŝto, Hungario. Ŝi aktivas en la Esperanto-movado ekde sia infanaĝo. Ŝi kunlaboris pri multe da renkontiĝoj, kreis podkastseriojn kiel La Bona Renkontiĝo, Radikala Tenero. Ŝi verkas pri diversaj temoj en Esperanto por gazetoj kaj siaj du blogoj ekde dekkvin jaroj. Stela distros nin per diversaj programeroj, inter aliaj pri “Arto en Glasgovo” kaj “Esperanto en familioj”. Krome, kaj kutime, ni havos buntan gamon de aliaj kontribuaĵoj.
